ΜΟΥΣΙΚΟΣ ΚΥΚΛΟΣ ΖΩΗΣ
Photographic Series, 2012
The photographic series Μουσικός Κύκλος Ζωής [Musician Life Cycle] consists of five images that make up the stages of the cycle of life through the photographic representation of music and musicians. Birth, Growth, Adulthood, Maturation and Death. Four of the images contain a musical instrument of each one of the families of musical instruments and one picture refers to the performance of a translated song in Greek sign language. The visual sense of each image and the performance of the stage of life with each musical instrument is allegorical in relation to the essential meaning. The photographic series was created during November of 2012. Honored with the 2nd place in the “Music & Musicians” Photography Competition, organized by KYMA FM during Autumn-Winter 2012. Part of the series has been exhibited in Docforlife's organisation group exhibition in the early 2013 in Athens.
